Location

Farthinghoe is a rural south Northamptonshire village close to the border of North Oxfordshire.

The village has a primary school, The Fox public house/restaurant, repair garage and parish church.

More specialised requirements at the market towns of Brackley (Tesco & Waitrose) and Banbury (Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's).

Local secondary school is Chenderit (Middleton Cheney). Selection of local independent schools include preparatory at Winchester House (Brackley), Beachborough (Westbury), and St John's Priory (Banbury). Senior public schools:- Stowe School, Bloxham School and Tudor Hall (girls) also in Bloxham.

Communication links include intercity train services from Banbury and Bicester North to London Marylebone and Birmingham and access to M40 at either J10 for the south or J11 for the north.

Leisure activities in the area include golf at Middleton Cheney, Whittlebury Park and Buckingham; theatre at Milton Keynes, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon; motor racing at Silverstone; Bicester Village. RH at Aynho; Soho Farmhouse private members club at Great Tew.
