If you've been looking for a turnkey canal home in the Upper Keys where you can unpack, launch the boat, and start enjoying island life, this one is ready for you. This ground-level concrete home in Plantation Key Colony has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and the big projects are already done: a brand new metal roof, impact windows and doors, a new sewer line, fresh paint inside and out, new interior doors, and energy-efficient appliances. Even the tiki hut was just re-thatched. It's clean, bright, and easy to care for. For boaters, the setup is hard to beat. You get 50 feet of dockage on the canal, a boat slip with a ramp that runs through the pull-through garage, and a new fish cleaning station with water and electric. Run out Tavernier Creek to the ocean side, or head straight out to Florida Bay. The garage was updated too, with new door rollers, new lock hardware, and upgraded floors and walls. Plantation Key Colony has a voluntary HOA with a bayfront park that includes a new boat ramp, a small beach, and a picnic area. You're right in the heart of Islamorada, close to the marinas, restaurants, and some of the best fishing in the Florida Keys. Come see it in person. I think you'll feel the difference the moment you pull in.
