This open pasture is on a quiet country road yet only about 3 miles from the center of Newcastle and Damariscotta. Surrounded by old stone walls and abutting dozens of acres of conservation land and a short walk to over 100 acres more of old growth forest, beaver ponds and trails. Mostly level with a gentleslope away from the road. A copse of trees in the center surrounds an interesting ''hollow'' not commonlyfound. There are few places this close to town that offer this amount of quiet privacy.
