Nestled in lush greenery, in that area of Alta Brianza dotted with the 'small lakes' that ideally connect the two branches of Lake Como, stands 'Villa delle Rose', an elegant early twentieth-century residence, originally built as a representative home for an important family of industrialists. The villa was partially renovated 8 years ago with great attention paid to preserving its many elegant details: from the fine Palladian-style marble floors to the refined original hand-crafted decorative plasterwork found throughout the property. The main villa is arranged over three above-ground floors, in addition to a semi-basement level. Within the park are the 'caretaker's house', which requires complete renovation, and a large garage. The magnificent private park of approximately two hectares, perfectly maintained and adorned with beautiful rose hedges that give the property its name, features a large swimming pool with a gazebo area; the tennis court located in the northern section of the property currently requires restoration. Built in 1920, the residence has undergone several significant renovation works: the roof has been completely rebuilt and thermally insulated; the windows have been fitted with double glazing; the heating system and some bathrooms have been recently renovated; furthermore, a large apartment has been created in the attic area, which is now completely independent from the rest of the villa. A splendid 130 sq m (1.400 Sq ft.) terrace overlooks the beautiful Italian-style garden. Situated in a strategic location, the property is only 40 minutes from Milan, 30 minutes from Como and 15 minutes from Lake Como.
