This house has it all - the light and the shade, the transparency and the privacy, the vision and the security. For the owner, the collaboration with the interior designer was a real stroke of luck. What at the beginning was supposed to be a manageable modernization became, in the interaction of both creative minds, a project that runs through all floors. The result was a new arrangement of the rooms as a tailor-made suit. The starting point is the defining cross vault on the first floor from the eighteenth century. This architectural detail is the linchpin for the generously designed kitchen, for the dining area and the space by the fireplace. Powerful use has been made here of color accents in the furniture and art. Transparency through glass doors, which satinize on request in the bathroom area, among other things, lend the house a French lightness. The lighting concept runs through all floors: in addition to ceiling lighting, which was spectacularly recessed between old oak beams, especially on the upper floor, we find mainly wall lights. Each one handpicked, some from Paris, some unique pieces with collector's value.
