Oceanview Villa in Iceland

Historic detached villa, situated on a plot of 2,634 m2 with a living area of ​​225 m2. The house dates from 1876, making it the oldest house in Borgarnes. The house built of wood was completely renovated in 2016 and guarantees quality and durability, guaranteeing a pleasant and carefree stay!

Location
The villa is less than an hour's drive from Reykjavik, due to its special location, the villa is a well-known object both in Iceland and abroad. Via a private staircase from the house you go up to a plateau where there is a huge work of art, called 'Brákin'. From here you have a truly magnificent view of the ocean, the mountains and the vast surroundings. It is therefore a wonderful stay where you can completely relax.

Borgarnes is also a great starting point for trips to Iceland's most beautiful hotspots. The following attractions are within an hour's drive:

The villa is well maintained and repainted on the outside in 2020 and most of the pipes were renewed in 2016. The roof is in very good condition, as are the frames and windows. The villa has a living area of ​​226 m2, a volume of no less than 1,500 m3 and has a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
There is 3-phase electricity and the building has a high-speed internet connection and a fire alarm system. The villa is equipped with central heating which is used in a sustainable way through geothermal energy. Iceland is known as the most sustainable country.
