Fitzroy House is accessed off a small lane and is approached through a pillared gateway with a tarmac drive, which leads to a gravelled parking area at the front of the building. The house, which dates from the late 18th Century and is grade II listed, is attractive and classical of its period, with well proportioned rooms, tall ceilings and sash windows making it particularly light and airy inside.
