From Joensuu, south on Highway 6, about a 50-minute drive away, awaits a simple wooden cabin under a large oak tree, ready for new summer visitors. A good road leads there. The yard provides ample space for playing and parking with ease.

In addition to the cabin kitchen, the cottage has a bedroom, a renovated sauna, a spacious dressing room, not to mention a sizable, sheltered terrace. Water flows in from a private well, and for those avoiding the outdoor toilet, there is a burning cottage WC. The cabin's atmosphere is enhanced by a solid masonry fireplace.

The open grassy yard features plantings, a root cellar, a garage/storage, a double barn, a playhouse, a barbecue shelter, and a woodshed. At the shoreline, right at the water's edge, is a fisherman's dream: a spacious boat shed. The western-facing shoreline is sandy and firm.
