Location

Lanzo d'Intelvi has been very much of a sought after destination with grand vacation villas since 1900 with fabulous liberty villas built by affluent families from Milan and Como. In 1900, a funicular connected Lanzo Intelvi with the Swiss lake Lugano.

There are plans for a new funicular to connect Lanzo Intelvi with the Swiss lake Lugano.

The town offers several amenities.

Lanzo d’Intelvi is is about 20 minutes drive down to Argegno, on the west shore of Lake Como (Como - Menaggio side) and 20 minutes drive down the other side of the mountain to the Swiss Lake Lugano.

Lanzo offers a number of activities for the winter ( skiing and cross country), golf, riding as well as the local very popular trekking and cycling routes.
