Two hundred sixty-three West End Avenue was originally known as Hudson Towers and later renamed Riverside Towers. In 1945, plans were filed by architect Arthur Weisler for the conversion of the building to cooperative apartments for one hundred twenty-four families to be known as Riverside Towers
