Location

The Hill Farm sits within the conservation area on the edge of the village of Ilmington, which itself lies within the Cotswolds ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.’ An excellent network of footpaths and bridle paths through the rolling countryside are perfect for walkers and riders who can enjoy the beauty of the area throughout the year.

There is a great choice of schools in the area, both private and state, including Chipping Campden School, Warwick School and Stratford Girls’ Grammar School and King Edward VI school in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Train services from Moreton-in-Marsh (8 miles) to London Paddington from 92 minutes and from Banbury (20 miles) to Marylebone from 55 minutes. London and Birmingham by road via M40 (J11 and J15).

The Cotswolds’ year is packed with events ranging from world famous international festivals like Cheltenham literary and science festivals and Cheltenham Gold Cup Week to major musical events such as the Wilderness Festival and the Big Feastival, as well as a jam-packed events calendar featuring concerts, exhibitions, arts and literature festivals and theatrical productions.

Directions

From the A429 head towards Darlingscott and continue through the village towards Ilmington. Turn left onto Armscote Road. Turn right onto Front Street and then left onto Mickleton Road. After about 220 metres turn left and proceed for about 600 metres. Pass the church on your left and the lane leading to the property will be found on the right after a short distance.
