New Quay is famous for its marine wildlife. Dolphins, porpoises, seals, migrant coastal birds can all be spotted.
The property is near three beautiful beaches, New Quay Beach, Traeth Gwyn and Dolau.

New Quay marks the half way point of the Wales Coast Path. Heading north out of New Quay is the New Quay to Aberaeron section of the route, which is a popular section of the Wales Coast Path.

The village features various restaurants and pubs, including the Black Lion Hotel, which was a favourite of Dylan Thomas. Local shops provide all essential amenities, and there is a GP surgery and pharmacy within walking distance.

New Quay is convenient to other coastal towns, including the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron (about seven miles), the university town of Aberystwyth (about 23 miles) and Cardigan (about 21 miles).

Carmarthen town and the A48 M4 link road is about 31 miles taking you onto South Wales (Swansea about 58 miles), Cardiff 101 miles, the Severn Bridge and into England.

Nythfa (translates as Nest) is an attractive coastal home centrally located in the village on a highly sought after quiet residential terrace in the popular seaside village of New Quay, West Wales. Dating back to approximately 1861, this property has been thoughtfully renovated and refurbished over the years, making it a comfortable main residence or a delightful holiday retreat. The views from Nythfa overlook the harbour and expansive views of Cardigan Bay. You can watch the boats go by or gaze up the coast to the Llyn Peninsular and Snowden. Ground Floor
An enclosed entrance porch with original leaded windows leads into the light and airy reception hall. There is a door that opens into the living room with a stunning bay window with a window seat, perfect for enjoying the sea views. There is a modern log-burner serving as a warm focal point.
Elegant double doors open into the adjacent dining room, allowing natural light from the living room to fill the space. The dining room connects to the kitchen area, which can also be accessed from the inner hall. The kitchen features stylish fitted base and wall cabinets, an electric hob, an extractor hood, and an electric oven with a grill. A roof light above the kitchen enhances the ambiance by flooding the area with additional natural light. Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a practical utility room.

First Floor
An original wooden staircase, ascends from the reception hall to the first-floor accommodation, complemented by characterful exposed wooden floor. The main bedroom is located at the front of the house and features a bay window with a cozy window seat, offering superb views of the harbour and sea. This floor features two additional bedrooms. One bedroom faces the front and offers beautiful views, while the other overlooks the rear garden and includes a fitted wardrobe. These bedrooms share a stylish bathroom and have access to a separate toilet room.

Second Floor
The staircase continues to the second floor, where you will find an impressive open space with exposed beams, under-eaves storage cupboards, and a Velux window.

Externally
At the front of the house, there a garden bench, ideal for enjoying the views. At the rear, a lovely terraced garden, with lawn and garden workshop. Steps lead up from the rear garden to access Picton Terrace, which runs along above.
