Location

Wighill is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire. Near the river Wharfe and around 6 miles east of Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

A small and peaceful village with a post box, bus stop and Norman Church.

The village has a pub called the White Swan Inn which has boutique guest rooms, a pleasant terrace and regular social events such as fine dining evenings and quiz nights. The Tickled Trout Inn is around 5 miles away at Bilton-in-Ainsty.

Tadcaster is aprox 2 miles drive, and hosts a supermarket, swimming pool, petrol station, pharmacy, butchers a hardware store as well as restaurants and take away food.   

Wetherby is around 5 miles away and has M&S food, Delicatessens, various tea room, boutiques and gift shops.

Boston Spa is around 4 miles away and has Italian restaurants Da Carlo's Trattoria and L'Aquila.
