Treworval Farm is situated just outside of Mawnan Smith, a peaceful village located in the civil parish of Mawnan in South Cornwall, approximately three miles south of Falmouth. Surrounded by rolling countryside and close to the Helford River, the village offers a blend of rural charm and coastal proximity. It has a small but active community with local amenities including a village shop, pub, and primary school. The area is known for its scenic walking routes, nearby National Trust gardens, and easy access to the South West Coast Path. Communication links are good with the A30T dual carriageway just north of Truro giving fast access to the M5 motorway at Exeter. Cornwall's Newquay airport provides flights to London, Birmingham and an expanding range of European destinations. Regular mainline train services to London run from the cathedral city of Truro (12.4 miles).

Description

Treworval Farmhouse
A lovely example of a Grade II listed Cornish farmhouse of stone and granite construction under a slate roof dating from the early to mid C18 with later C20 alterations. The farmhouse showcases authentic hung slate detailing with grouted scantle slate roof, hallmarks of traditional Cornish architecture which are particularly situated to the region's coastal climate.

The Forge
A superb example of a single storey, traditional stone barn conversion finished to an exceptionally high standard which is used as a holiday let. Converted by the current owners in 2021, the accommodation comprises an open plan kitchen/reception/living area with feature fire place, modern kitchen and log burner inset in granite surround and an en-suite double bedroom. The Old Byre
Converted in 2022 at the same time as The Forge, is another charming detached barn conversion also run as a holiday let. The farm boasts a fantastic run of arable and pastureland extending to 162.27 acres in all.
