Englesbatch is situated close to the picturesque village of Peldon and lies approximately 500 metres down a private farm road. It is surrounded by arable farmland.

The village offers some facilities and services including a community hall, church and two public houses. The nearest primary school is just over 3 miles north in Langenhoe.

Close by is the Abberton Reservoir and Nature Reserve, a wetland site of international importance for wildfowl, which provides excellent bird watching opportunities and fabulous views over the 1,200 acre reservoir.

The historic town of Colchester is located within xx miles and provides a more comprehensive shopping centre and a range of schooling.

Description
