Horsmonden village has a good range of local amenities including a village shop, doctors' surgery, pharmacy with consultation service, primary academy, kindergarten, sports field, tennis and cricket clubs. Comprehensive shopping can be found in Tunbridge Wells (9.5 miles) and Paddock Wood (5 miles). Paddock Wood mainline station has frequent services to London Charing Cross/Cannon Street in about 51 minutes.

There is a good selection of schools both state, private and grammar in the local area, including Horsmonden Primary Academy and Kindergarten, Mascalls Academy at Paddock Wood, Bethany at Goudhurst (2.5 miles) and is within the Cranbrook School catchment area.
