Location

Quarto dei Mille is a residential neighborhood
of the municipality of Genoa, included in the Municipio IX Levante. Once an independent municipality, in 1926 it was aggregated to Greater Genoa.
Overlooking the Ligurian Sea, it is located between the Sturla and Quinto neighborhoods. Originally the official name was Quarto al Mare, the name was then changed in 1911 in honor of the expedition of Garibaldi that started from this location.
