The village of North Scarle lies in a convenient rural setting, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and within reach of both Lincoln (approx. 11 miles) and Newark (approx. 12 miles).

The charming village has a local pub, shop and post office, playing fields, village hall and a parish church, plus a primary school, while nearby Collingham (approx. five miles) offers various everyday amenities, including a small supermarket, a medical centre and a pharmacy, as well as a primary school. Newark lies approx. 12 miles to the south and provides access to a host of further facilities, including high street shops and large supermarkets, as well as extensive leisure facilities and a choice of schooling, while historic Lincoln is within approx. 11 miles, with its wealth of leisure and cultural facilities, including New Theatre Royal and Lincoln Arts Centre.

Rail services are available from Collingham and at Newark Northgate providing routes to London Kings Cros, taking from approximately 75 minutes (Newark Northgate to London Kings Cross). By road, the A1 is approx. 10 miles away, while the A46 provides access towards Lincoln.
