Just a few steps from the medieval walls and Piazza dei Miracoli, in the prestigious residential area of Porta a Lucca, stands a unique villa designed in 1973 by the internationally renowned architect Gae Aulenti. It is her only work realized in Pisa, published as an example of a new architectural language. Natural materials such as terracotta, stone and wood, together with the greenery that seems to enter the house, create a harmonious relationship with nature.The family spaces revolve around an internal garden, creating a private atmosphere while remaining within an urban context. The layout ensures independence between the different areas: a large living area with relaxation space, TV and fireplace, a separate kitchen, and a quiet sleeping area. Natural light is the true protagonist, with zenithal glazing, double-height spaces and continuous views of the garden.The villa fully preserves the original design, with spaces, materials and custom-made furnishings still perfectly consistent with the author's vision.
