This unparalleled project envisages the creation of an Agrotourism venture aimed at Wine Tourism, in one of the oldest Wine Estates in the world, the Alto Douro Vinhateiro. The idyllic landscape of the vineyard stretching as far as the eye can see, the colossal and emblematic vineyards of the Douro Region - classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - And the secluded corners laden with silence of Quinta do Carvalhal, are the motivation behind this project with a private gross area of 4000 square meters, blending the contemporary with the traditional, in perfect harmony with nature. The venture, with a sober, rustic, and sophisticated character, will provide experiences revolving around the theme of wine and the exploration of the region's rural life, through a project that seeks to enhance the timeless elegance and authenticity of the architectural details of the location. The aim is to construct a 4-star Agrotourism venture, comprising 24 Accommodation Units, with a Lobby, Restaurant, Bar, Multipurpose Room, Gym, Yoga Room, Swimming Pool, Changing Rooms, and other technical and personnel areas. The old main house will integrate an Events Room with a Wine Cellar on the semi-basement floor, with the Restaurant and Lounge with Bar on the upper floor and 5 accommodations on the top floor. Further south, another volume equivalent to the existing one will be built, where the ground floor will house the staff's services and facilities, with another 19 units distributed over both floors. In the rear area, we have the semi-buried volume of the Spa, with leisure and recreation areas for guests, and higher up, the suspended pool, which transitions between the building and the highest area of the slope, and will also serve as shelter for the boarding and disembarking area of the Entrance. The Accommodation Units offer a stay experience in an open nature environment, elevated to provide the sensation of a suspended construction and promote greater integration with the landscape.
