The Alianza Peruvian Horse Ranch [1513 Squaw Creek Road, Edwards, CO 81632] is being offered for the first time in almost fifty years. Located at the base of 'Squaw Creek' (a.k.a. 'Colorow Creek') (a.k.a. 'Cordillera' - but it isn't 'Cordillera'), this one-time stagecoach stop has served as the Alianza Peruvian Horse Ranch and family residence to a long-time local horse enthusiast. Once home to up to eighteen Peruvian Paso horses, 'the ranch' has settled down in recent years. Irrigated green pastures, outbuildings [an arena; hay barn; loafing sheds]; the main house [2,406 square feet; two-bedroom / one and three-quarter bathroom] and historic [1886] caretaker cabin [384 square feet; studio; one-bathroom] with wood burning fireplaces and stoves are a peaceful reminder of simpler times.
