Anastasia Architects designed the Vila Castela Residence in Nova Lima, Brazil.

Morato Arquitetura have designed a house in the surroundings of Nova Lima, a city in the Minas Gerais state of Brazil. The choice of the land was determined by the extensive landscape found there. The concept of this project was to articulate volumes from transparent to opaque, according to the use of the involved ambience. The social areas are sheltered by glass volumes, which enable a generous interaction with the natural environment. The intimate areas are sealed by conventional brick walls torn by glass shafts.
