Longstanding yet fully refurbished manor house, which currently operates as a rural hotel. The central building, around which the entire estate revolves, used to be the old mansion of a noble family, dating back to the 18th Century, fully refurbished with magnificent façades of masonry and ashlar.This is a two-storey building, with an chambered area surrounding the central arched courtyard. It has an underground excavated area in the form of a grand cave system, with three access points: one from the hotel’s dining room, another from Reception heading towards the pub, and a final access from the hotel’s service area. Inside, we come across the main courtyard, notably characteristic of that period, surrounded by stone pillars. We then follow onto a majestic staircase with vaulted light illumination leading us up to the second storey with ample balconies where the thirteen bedrooms with en-suite bathroom can be found.An open courtyard with approximately 800 m² divides the main building from its secondary counterpart. A roofed terraced area is located in this courtyard, with wooden porticos and a bar. It does, however, offer a large open area which is currently used as the guests’ parking lot.The two-storey auxiliary building is currently being used independently for the hotel’s multiple purposes. There is a large hall for events or common area when used as a rural house, and handicap bathroom. Thereupon we reach the hall and stairway leading up to the top-floor. This floort has four fully furnished bedrooms, one of them being an apartment suite with a cozy living room and open kitchen.Belmonte (Cuenca) is declared a National Historical-Artistic Site. Its castle, collegiate church, palaces and old town provide it with charm and much touristic allure, capable of transforming this small sleepy town on weekdays, into a dynamic, lively atmosphere on weekends, bank holidays and seasonal holidays.
