Time seems to stand still in the charming village Petra. Surrounded by the spectacular countryside, Petra has retained its traditions and originality over the years. The village is famous as the birth place of Fra Juniper Serra (1713-1784), a friar of the Franciscan order, the Mallorcan missionary who preached in Baja and Alta California, as the areas were called in those days. He went on to found missions which ultimately became major Californian cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco etc. You will be able to visit a museum founded in his honour in Petra, he was pronounced a saint by the Pope in 2015.

This charming Mallorcan estate is located just a few minutes from the picturesque village Ariany. It is a historic estate, the first record of which dates back to December 1500.
