Cornfield Hall is located in unspoilt countryside, to east of the village of Fersfield, with a network of footpaths over the surrounding countryside.

The thriving and well served village of Kenninghall is about four miles distant and provides a shop with post office, bistro, two public houses including the popular Red Lion, doctor’s surgery, primary school and village hall.

The market town of Diss is approximately four miles away, with good shopping facilities and supermarkets, and a mainline rail service to London Liverpool Street with an approximate journey time of just 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Surrounded mostly by wheatfields and woodland, we are blessed with utter peace and an abundance of wildlife, stunning scenery, starry nights and safe bike rides.
As well as the high ceilings, limed beams, and sunny rooms, we have enjoyed the unexpected features, such as the wooden tower (G&T’s in the hot tub as the sun goes down over the wheatfields), the lych-gate, sauna and secret room. Privacy is also important to us, and we seldom see or hear our lovely neighbours, except when we meet for a glass of wine."   

Outside
From a quiet lane, Cornfield Hall is approached via a sweeping gravel driveway with off-road parking for several vehicles, as well as a double garage with direct access to the house. The gardens are a most attractive feature and the plot is approaching three quarters of an acre.

The garden was originally designed by a Chelsea flower show winner and as such has been thoughtfully imagined to give character to the outside as well as several areas of interest to enjoy. The sunken rose terrace in particular is a great spot for outdoor entertaining.
