Llwyn Hywel is located a scenic position in the Carmarthenshire countryside. The historic county is famous for its its fishing on the River Towy and its romantic castles. Despite its idyllic rural position, the A40 road with a nearby garage and Asda shop is only about a mile away while the popular shopping town of Carmarthen with railway services and the largest teaching hospital in west Wales with A&E is only about five miles.
