<p class="style29122">Fritz&oslash;ehus Castle is the largest privately owned residence in Norway. The main building is located on a hill southwest of Larvik and is surrounded by a large, gated garden as well as a beautiful landscape park.&nbsp;Fritz&oslash;ehus has a total floor area of 6,707 square meters, and the surrounding inner garden amounts to 21 acres of well-kept lawns with&nbsp;a varied flora and unique sculptures. Along with the majestic outer park, the total area of the estate is 420 acres.</p><p class="style29122">The estate's first buildings were constructed in the years 1860-1863. Several times since then, they have been supplemented and developed&nbsp;further. Over the last 25 years, large upgrades have been made to the key&nbsp;buildings belonging to Fritz&oslash;ehus Castle.</p><p class="style29122">A property like this cannot be experienced anywhere else in&nbsp;Norway and is unique even in a Nordic context.
