The village of Bray is known for the renowned Michelin starred restaurants, The Waterside Inn, Fat Duck, and Hind's Head. Maidenhead and Windsor offer a wide range of shopping and leisure amenities.

Rail access to London (Paddington) is available from both Taplow and Maidenhead (journey times from approx. 19 minutes) and Elizabeth Line services. The M4 is accessible at(junction 8/9 is approx.1.6 miles).

Bray Village sits on the banks of the River Thames and is home to two of the country’s eight three Michelin starred restaurants. The Fat Duck run by Heston Blumenthal and The Waterside run by the Roux family which has held its three Michelin stars for 25 years. Of note is Monkey Island in the river in Bray it is home to the Grade 1 listed Monkey Island Hotel.

The stretch of river between Bray and Maidenhead bridge has been referred to as millionaires row by the national press. The river is also home to the annual Boulters to Bray open water swimming event.

Other local events include Maidenhead Carnival, farmers markets and a calendar of events at Norden Farm Centre for the arts. For boating enthusiasts the delightful Bray Marina offers accommodation for river craft.
